AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

STRING APPLICANTS (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass)

Applicants must submit:
• Two scales: one major and one minor (3 octaves)
• One piece of choice demonstrating the applicant’s strongest technical and musical ability
o Suggested repertoire includes a movement of a standard concerto or comparable work

PIANO APPLICANTS
Piano applicants should demonstrate technical command, musical maturity, and collaborative readiness.

Audition Requirements

• One video recording of a solo work (individual movements are acceptable) that best represents your current level of playing
• A repertoire list of all works studied within the past six months, including composer and title
• A chamber music repertoire list reflecting your experience with collaborative playing

Piano applicants should demonstrate openness to collaboration and interest in chamber music performance.

AUDITION VIDEO SUBMISSION

• Acceptable platforms: YouTube or Vimeo
• Applicants may submit the application before audition recordings
• Audition recordings may be emailed later to: sghoukasianmusic@gmail.com
